“Olympus Has Fallen” seems to echo the movies of “Independence Day” and “Deep Impact,” what with the likes of Morgan Freeman, who seems to fit seamlessly in these types of films. However, the President (Aaron Eckhart) isn’t in danger from alien forces; he’s in danger from a North Korean terrorist group.

Now, one could make some serious arguments about American society’s constant need for an evil, racially-different Other to cast as the villain, but if you’re just looking for a good time with action, adventure, fighting the bad guys and, of course, listening to Morgan Freeman talk.

“Olympus Has Fallen” also stars Gerard Butler, Angela Bassett and Rick Yune. You can check out the trailer below the post.
