Official Poster for Matthew McConaughey’s Mud Debuts

The official poster for the upcoming movie ‘Mud,’ starring Matthew McConaughey, Michael Shannon and Reese Witherspoon, has been released by Lionsgate and Raodside Attractions. The drama, which was directed by Jeff Nichols, is set to hit theaters on April 26.

‘Mud’ follows two boys, Ellis, played by Tye Sheridan, and his friend, Neckbone, portrayed by Jacob Lofland, who find the title character, played by McConnaughey, hiding out on an island in the Mississippi. Mud describes stunning scenarios, including killing a man in Texas and vengeful bounty hunters who are searching for him. Mud says he’s planning to met and escape with the love of his life, Juniper, portrayed by Witherspoon, who’s waiting for him in town.

Skeptical of Mud’s stories, Ellis and Neckbone agree to help him. It isn’t until long before Mud’s stories come true, and their small town is besiegesd by a beautiful girl with several bounty hunters in tow.
