Interview: Danny Trejo Talks Death Race 3: Inferno

Posted by philip On February - 6 - 2013 0 Comment

Danny Trejo’s an icon, not just for the Latino community, but across the board as a general badass. While 1995 could be considered his breakout year with roles in Desperado and Heat, Trejo’s career began ten years prior to that. Seldom has he branched past his tough guy physique, although he has had turns in Anchorman and Robert Rodriguez’ Spy Kids series. While you’d think the man is an intimidating presence, he’s one of the kindest people to sit down and have a conversation with.

And that’s exactly what we were lucky enough to do recently, as we discussed his mentor role in Death Race 3: Inferno, and his status as a Mexican Icon.

Death Race 3: Inferno is available now on Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital Download.
