Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace are seeking revenge in the latest video clip and photos from the upcoming action crime drama ‘Dead Man Down.’ The film, which is the American debut of Danish director Niels Arden Oplev, the helmer of the original ‘The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009),’ is set to be released theatrically on March 8.
‘Dead Man Down’ follows Victor (Farrell) is an enforcer to a New York City boss, Alphonse Hoyt (Terrence Howard), who was responsible for the deaths of his wife and daughter, an act for which Victor seeks revenge. Victor turns detective when his boss is under threat from an unknown killer. During the threat, he’s seduced by Beatrice (Noomi Rapace), who blackmails him into helping her with her own search for vengeance
In the new video, clips from the action crime drama are interlaced with interviews with Farrell, Rapace and Howard. Farrell discusses how Victor came to America for a better, after his wife and daughter were taken from him. Rapace states that Victor is determined to find vengeance, as he won’t stop until his revenge is finished.
Howard added that Alphonse made a mistake a few years ago, and since then, he has slowly evolved into greed and selfishness. He also wants to burn anything of importance to Victor. The actor added the film is explosive until the end.
