Hopes are high “Dark Skies” will bring a much-needed creepy thrill to the theaters next weekend, but why not satiate that need for a good scare a little early with the fourth and final installment of the “Lake Placid” series, “Lake Placid: The Final Chapter?”
The film’s official synopsis claims, “The crocs are back… and they’re bigger, badder and more brutal than ever.” Since the last croc-caused massacre, the government has kept the beasts secluded in a nature preserve. Trouble is, the facility isn’t as isolated as they thought because one wrong turn sends a high school swim team right into dangerous territory.
