Giveaway: Win The Sessions Blu-ray From Shockya

In anticipation of the 85th Academy Awards airing on Sunday night, and Helen Hunt being nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Cheryl Cohen-Greene, Shockya is giving away two copies of ‘The Sessions’ Blu-ray, which is now available in stores. Also starring John Hawkes and William H. Macy, the independent drama is a triumphant true story about love, sex and desire.

‘The Sessions’ follows Mark O’Brien (Hawkes), who has been paralyzed and confined to an iron lung since childhood. But now, at age 38, he faces his toughest challenge yet: losing his virginity. With the help of a beautiful therapist, Cheryl, and his own sense of optimism and humor, Mark embarks on a personal journey to discover the wondrous pleasure that makes life worth living.

The Blu-ray includes such special features as deleted scenes, writer-director Ben Lewin discussing his inspiration, a session with the cast and an ultraviolet copy of the film. The special features also chronicle Hawkes and Hunt becoming their characters.
