Mila Kunis discussed the casting rumors about her playing lead character Anastasia Steele in the film version of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ when she recently spoke with ‘Extra‘ host Mario Lopez. Lopez asked the ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ star, “Is it true Mila that you’re interested in being in the film version of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey?’” The actress replied, “I’m not disinterested” in the part.
For now, the 29-year-old actress is busy promoting her latest film, the new action adventure fantasy take on the ‘Wizard of Oz,’ which was directed by Sam Raimi and is set to be released in theaters on March 8. Kunis, who stars alongside James Franco, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz, plays the witch Theodora in the film. Discussing her physical transformation into the role, she said, “It started off with a four hour process…But then it ended up being two hours at the end of production with an hour at the end of every night to take it all off.”
Lopez also asked Kunis, who has been acting since she was 9, what her backup plan would have been if she wasn’t successful in Hollywood. “I’d probably go back to school and become a teacher,” she said. “I love kids and I love teaching.”
