With the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences presenting the winners of the 85th Academy Awards tonight at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi offered her suggestions on who should win the night’s big categories. The ‘Snooki and JWOWW’ star spoke with Celebuzz with her predictions, starting off by saying she thinks Anne Hathaway should win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role of Fantine in ‘Les Miserables.’ Polizzi said the actress should win because “she played a prostitute. She’s gorgeous, and she’s a really good prostitute.”
The MTV reality star said she thinks Alan Arkin should win the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award, for his portrayal of Lester Siegel in ‘Argo.’ Polizzi said he deserved to win because “he’s bald, and he played a really good director.”
In the Best Actress category, Polizzi said she thinks Jennifer Lawrence should win for her role of Tiffany in ‘Silver Linings Playbook.’ The 25-year-old reality star said Lawrence should get the award because she’s sexy and is a good actress. Polizzi also said that Daniel Day-Lewis should win Best Actor for his title role in ‘Lincoln,’ because he did a really good job of playing a president. She added that he looked exactly like Abraham Lincoln.
Polizzi added that she thinks ‘Argo’ deserves to win Best Picture. “I just watched it and I thought it was amazing. Plus, I’m a big fan of Ben Affleck and I think he did an amazing job of directing it. I thought it was such a good movie. I was tense and on my feet the entire time. I honestly think the award should go to Ben Affleck [and] ‘Argo.’”
The reality star was also asked who she thinks should win the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award, which honors producers, whose bodies of work reflect a consistently high quality of motion picture production. Polizzi answered by just saying, “I don’t f**king know.”
