The first season of “Veep” was lauded by critics and instantly loved by viewers, so it’s expected that the second season will be just as entertaining as the first. In the new key art for the second season of “Veep,” Selina Meyer shows us just how well-versed in diplomacy she is. Just take a look for yourself below the post.

Also below is the trailer for the second season. From the very funny trailer, it would seem Meyer is still having trouble being in the shadow of the most powerful man in the world, the President of the United States.

“Veep” stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Meyer, the Vice President of the United States:

“Former senator Selina Meyer was a rising star in her party, a charismatic leader with White House potential. Then she became Vice President. Julia Louis-Dreyfus stars in Veep, a new HBO comedy series created by Armando Iannucci that follows the whirlwind day-to-day existence of the Vice President as she puts out political fires, juggles a busy public schedule and demanding private life, and defends the president’s interests, even as she tries to improve her dysfunctional relationship with the chief executive.”

The HBO show also stars Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale, Reid Scott, Timothy Simons, Matt Walsh, Sufe Bradshaw and Nathan Ferguson. The season two premiere of “Veep” airs Sunday, April 14 at 10/9c on HBO.
