Fabiana Udenio, the Argentinian-born actress who played Alotta Fagina in ‘Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery,’ said she’s prideful over the new papal election, TMZ is reporting. The actress said when Pop Francis returns to his home country of Argentina, she’ll be waiting there to congratulate him.
“Catholic people in South America are very passionate people and I think this will be good for the spiritual side of the religion because it may attract more passionate people to join the religion,” Udenio said. “The people of South America] are less jaded by the skepticism brought on by the scandals that have burdened the Catholic church in the past.”
Udenio added that she’s excited what an Argentinian will bring to Italy. “The fusion of both cultures will be a great thing for Catholics everywhere,” she added.
