The saga of soap operas “One Life to Live” and “All My Children” has been just as dramatic as the on-screen storylines. First, we heard that the shows would air on the web through The Online Network. However, it’s being reported by The Hollywood Reporter that past episodes of “One Life to Live” and “All My Children” will air on OWN.

The first 40 episodes of both soaps will air for a limited 10-week run this summer. The episodes will run from Monday to Thursday beginning July 15. “All My Children” will air at 1 p.m. and “One Life to Live” will air at 3 p.m.

Erik Logan, the president at OWN, said, “These shows have proven to be very popular with a significant loyal fan base, not to mention Oprah herself is a big fan.” Logan continued, saying that many of the OWN fans “across numerous platforms” have expressed their desire to see these shows again.

Jeff Kwatinetz, the CEO of Prospect Park Networks, said, “We are really excited to bring OWN viewers and our audience at large an opportunity to catch up on ‘All May Children’ and ‘One Life to Live’ on traditional television.”
