Audi USA has joined with 20th Century Fox to announce the release of original content inspired by “The Wolverine”! The content features the Audi 2014 R8 V10 Spyder and the Ducati Diavel Cromo motorcycle to promote the film, which will be in theaters Friday. Audi is featured prominently in the film, so it makes sense that they would work together to create a cool campaign.

These cool assests include “The Wolverine” + Audi USA poster and the Audi and Ducati “Wolverine” movie trailer. the assets feature a high-speed light painting and artistic original content. The pieces were captured by a Canon EOS C300 digital camera at the Tango Row air strip at San Bernadino International Airport in California. The visual style combines the high-powered nature of the Audi R8 and the Ducati Diavel Cromo with the aggressive, hardcore aesthetic of the Wolverine. The videos uses long exposures of the iconic headlights and tail lights of the vehicles, combined with live action and CGI, to create a “light painting” of Wolverine’s adamantium claws, using a combination of live action.
