Uncover the Lambert family’s buried secrets during the ultimate ‘Insidious’ experience in theaters on Thursday, September 12. To celebrate the release of the anticipated follow-up to the hit 2011 horror thriller, ‘Insidious,’ the franchise’s distributor, FilmDistrict, will offer a one-night-only theatrical event nationwide. Fans will have the opportunity to watch the original film back-to-back with an early screening of ‘Insidious: Chapter 2.’

“‘Insidious: Chapter 2’ picks up exactly where the original left off–making a double feature all the more gratifying,” said Jim Orr, the President of Distribution for FilmDistrict. “As we open the next chapter, this gives ‘Insidious’ fans the chance to take the edge-of-their-seat thrill ride to the next level.”

The ultimate ‘Insidious’ experience will play in theaters on Thursday, September 12 in select theaters across America. Fans will have the option to buy a ticket for the double feature, or buy a single ticket to the sequel. The official website for ‘Insidious: Chapter 2’ includes a list of the theaters participating in the double feature.

A haunted family struggles to uncover a terrifying secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world in Insidious: Chapter 2,the latest nerve-twisting horror thriller from director James Wan (‘The Conjuring,’ ‘Saw,’ ‘Dead Silence’ and ‘Insidious’) and screenwriter Leigh Whannell (‘Saw,’ ‘Insidious’).
