Ever since it was announced that the popular “Mommy Porn” novel “50 Shades of Grey” was going to be adapted into a film, everyone’s been trying to figure out who could play the two lead characters, Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Several actors have been rumored to be considered for the part (fans really wanted Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer or Henry Cavill to play Christian), but now we have official word as to who’s going to portray the dashing lover of S&M: Charlie Hunnam.

Hunnam, who was recently in the film “Pacific Rim” and known mostly for his work on the FX hit drama “Sons of Anarchy,” will be co-starring alongside Dakota Johnson, who will play Anastasia. The casting announcements were made by the author of the “50 Shades” book series, E.L. James, through Twitter.

Now that we know who the most important people of the cast are, I’m sure there are going to be tons of dissenting opinions. But whether you like them or not, everyone must agree that there had better be some strong chemistry between the two. Considering the nature of “50 Shades of Grey,” these two actors had better get to know each other really, really well.

“50 Shades of Grey” is about a literature student who meets the handsome, troubled billionaire Christian Grey. Also, there’s a ton of kinky sex in it. The screenplay for “50 Shades of Grey” is written by Kelly Marcel. The film will be released Aug. 1, 2014.

What do you think about the two leads? Are they what you imagined in your head when you read the book? Give your opinions in the comments section below!
