I’m sure fans of “The Hunger Games” feel honored that Coldplay’s first song created specifically for a film soundtrack would be for “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.” I myself have been really interested in hearing what the song would be. Now, we can all listen together now that the official lyric video for the song, “Atlas” has been released.

If you’re a fan of Coldplay, then you already know they are great if you need a big, epic, awesome sound. There are only a few bands out there with a cinematic sound, and Coldplay happens to be one of them. Personally, I think “Atlas” is a song that has turned “The Hunger Games” franchise up past 11. Not only is it a great anthem for a film, but it’s also just a really awesome Coldplay song in general. Okay, I’ve hyped the song up enough; if you want to listen to it for yourself, check it out below the post.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” stars Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark. The two characters must go back to the Capitol to compete in a new Hunger Games–this time, it’s the Quarter Quell, which pushes the stakes higher for both Katniss and the world of Panem itself. “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” will be in theaters Nov. 22.
