Jason Statham Goes On the Warpath in New Homefront Red Band Trailer

Jason Statham is going on the warpath to protect his young daughter in the new red band trailer for the upcoming action thriller, ‘Homefront.’ Open Road Films has released the trailer for the Gary Fleder-helmed film, which was written by Statham’s ‘The Expendables’ co-star, Sylvester Stallone. ‘Homefront,’ which is based on the book by Chuck Logan, is set to be released on November 27.

Besides Statham, ‘Homefront’ also stars James Franco, Winona Ryder, Kate Bosworth and Frank Grillo. The film follows Statham’s character, Phil Broker, an ex-DEA agent, who, along with his 10-year-old daughter, retires to a small town to get over the loss of his wife. Unfortunately, he picked the wrong town, as it’s filled with drug dealers and gangs. Franco’s character, Gator, is Phil’s meth-cooking nemesis who leads a backwoods clan in making sure the former agent knows who’s boss.
