“Comic Book Men” comes from the mind of Kevin Smith, writer-director of classics like “Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back” and “Dogma.” The show is set around Smith’s store, “Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash” and also stars shop employees and friends Zapcic, Walt Flanagan, Ming Chen and Smith’s long-time friend/guy on the stool behind the front counter, Bryan Johnson. Here’s more about the show:

“Comic Book Men is a show that is for Fanboys by Fanboys. Set in uber-geek Kevin Smith’s iconic comic shop Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, the show explores every nook and cranny of Fanboy culture from A to Z. Endless circular debates about the technical accuracy of the USS Enterprise’s warp-core schematics? Snarky comic aficionados with an encyclopedic knowledge of every Marvel back issue? You bet.”

The episode “Super Friends” will air Oct. 28 at 12 am/11 pm c.
