The latest film from master director Martin Scorsese has seen its fair share of release date issues. “The Wolf of Wall Street” was originally going to open on November 15th, but it was believed it was delayed due to the film’s long running time. Paramount Pictures wanted Scorsese to get the film down to a more manageable running time and now the film is set for a release date on Christmas Day.

New posters for “The Wolf of Wall Street” surfaced on the Internet from two different entertainment outlets. The first from HitFix.com features Leonardo DiCaprio as Jordan Belfort in the middle of chaos in an office, while the other from Fandango.com features DiCaprio as part of the chaos. What poster do you like more? Personally, I like the latter. The former looks like it would be the film’s Blu-ray/DVD cover art. Fandango FTW!!

Read the film’s synopsis from IMDb.com below:

“Based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government.”

Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Matthew McConaughey, Jean Dujardin, Margot Robbie, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jon Favreau, Jon Bernthal, Cristin Milioti, Christine Ebersole, Kenneth Choi, Joanna Lumley, and Ethan Suplee, with Spike Jonze. Terence Winter wrote the film’s screenplay, based on Jordan Belfort’s memoir, while Martin Scorsese directed.

“The Wolf of Wall Street” will hit theaters everywhere on December 25th.
