“The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” is right around the corner–Dec. 13, to be exact–and some new posters have made their way to the surface! These posters, posted to Imp Awards, show Legolas, Tauriel, Bard the Bowman, Thorin Oakenshield, Gandalf and Bilbo Baggins. Take a look at the posters below in the gallery.
“The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” stars Martin Freeman as Bilbo, the hobbit that helps the band of dwarves–led by Thorin (Richard Armitage)–reclaim their homeland and treasure. The film also stars Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Evangeline Lilly as Tauriel, Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman and Ian McKellen as Gandalf. The film also features Benedict Cumberbatch as the voice of the fearsome dragon Smaug as well as the Necromancer.

“Having survived the beginning of their unexpected journey, the Company continues East, encountering along the way the skin-changer Beorn and a swarm of giant Spiders in the treacherous forest of Mirkwood.
