Hail to the KingIn the market for a new binge watch? You can now plow through the new animated series “Hail to the King” in its entirety on Machinima’s HappyHour Channel.

Avenged Sevenfold came up with the six-episode series that runs through a fictional narrative about their trademark, Death Bat. “Metalocalypse” producer Jon Schnepp directed all six episodes, which feature original storylines backed by music off the band’s upcoming album, “Hail to the King.”

The series is also part of the band’s effort to unite music and video games, so the show is meant to pair well with the mobile video game, “Hail to the King: Deathbat,” which is expected to arrive in early 2014. As explained by singer M Shadow, “The animated series tells the story ‘before’ the game takes place. When the series ends, the game picks up.”
