One of the best movies of the year is from director Marin Scorsese! “The Wolf of Wall Street” recently opened in theaters during Christmas and audiences are flocking to watch it. While the movie certainly isn’t a family holiday movie, it is a great film for mature and adult audiences. Read our review here and it was also one of my top 10 movies of 2013. Paramount released two behind-the-scenes featurettes that look at “The Wolf of Wall Street’s” crazy story and production.

Revered filmmaker Martin Scorsese directs the story of New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio). From the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80s. Excess success and affluence in his early twenties as founder of the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont warranted Belfort the title – “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Money. Power. Women. Drugs. Temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant. For Jordan and his wolf pack, modesty was quickly deemed overrated and more was never enough.

“The Wolf of Wall Street” stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Margot Robbie, Matthew McConaughey, Kyle Chandler, Rob Reiner, Jon Favreau, and Jean Dujardin as Jean-Jacques Saurel. While Terence Winter wrote the film, while the great Martin Scorsese directed it.
