“Accomplice. Asset. Weapon.” Opening in a few weeks, “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” is one of this year’s highly anticipated action movies of 2014. It’s the first Jack Ryan film since “The Sum of All Fears” with Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman in 2002. Chris Pine is exchanging his Captain Kirk phaser for a motorcycle and a pair of spy binoculars in “Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit.”

The new Jack Ryan movie stars Chris Pine, Kevin Costner, Kenneth Branagh, Keira Knightley, Colm Feore, and David Paymer. The film was written by Adam Cozad and David Koepp, while Kenneth Branagh (“Thor”) directed the new spy film.
“Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit” will hit theaters everywhere on January 17, 2014, in IMAX.
