While Warner Bros and DC Comics Entertainment is getting their act together for Man of Steel: Batman Vs. Superman and Justice League movies, DC Animation is killing it when compared to Marvel Animation. The DC animated films are the best possible way to bring the pages of DC comic books to life. If only Warner Bros and DC Comics Entertainment can only get their act together for their live-action movies. A new animated film feature’s Bruce Wayne’s son Damiam Wayne AKA Robin.
Grant Morrison’s “Batman & Son” storyline follows Bruce Wayne and the origins of his son Damian, the spawn of Bruce and Talia al Ghul. The new film features an all-star voice cast including Jason O’Mara, Stuart Allan, Morena Baccarin, Giancarlo Esposito, David McCallum, Xander Berkeley, and Thomas Gibson as Deathstroke.
“Son of Batman” will be available for purchase via Blu-ray/DVD and digital download sometime during late srping 2014. Watch the trailer below (via TV Guide)
