HispanTV can be viewed for free on FilmOn. The unique network is a Spanish-language news network owned by Iran’s state-owned public broadcasting corporation, Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, or IRIB. HispanTV has the honor of being the first Spanish-language television network in the Middle East.

The network, which has been distributed to several countries in South America, is meant to reinforce the ties shared by Iran and certain Latin American countries, as well as act as a counterbalance to what’s been seen in Western news coverage. Since it’s start in December 20111, HispanTV has been going strong, offering 24 hour programming every day, including coverage of the latest news, sports, health, culture, and other issues affecting the world today.
