“Noah,” Darren Aronofsky’s latest epic involving the age-old biblical tale of a man who was given word by God of an epic flood, will be coming to theaters March 28, just in time for Easter celebrations. The ark itself is something that has its own epic story, particularly how a structure like this would have been built back in biblical times. If you’ve been wondering what the ark will look like and how it was constructed, Aronofsky’s process for building his film’s ark is revealed in a new featurette. Check it out below the post.

Also, if you want to feel like you are inside the ark, then take a look at the online Ark Experience. Through the interactive website, you’ll be able to explore the three decks of the ark. It’s certainly the closest you’ll be able to get to being inside the ark apart from actually visiting the “Noah” set.

“Noah” stars Russell Crowe as the title character. The film also stars Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson Logan Lerman, Ray Winstone and Anthony Hopkins. The story is one that most of Americans know well, but it’s also one that is “an epic story of courage, sacrifice and hope.” What do you think of this film?
