AMY Winehouse’s father Mitch is involved in a Twitter bust-up with billionaire media mogul Alki David – over a plan for the late artist to be recreated on stage as a hologram.

The singer’s dad was today branded a ‘douche’ in an irritated tweet by Alki, who has now scrapped proposals to use computer generated 3D images in order to recreate Amy’s act.

The twitter spat flared up after rumors of the project were leaked to the media, prompting Mitch to react by tweeting that the proposal as ‘utter rubbish’ – despite the fact that Alki insists Mitch KNEW about the plan.

Now Alki has hit back with a tweet in which he named two of Amy’s former management team – Trenton Harrison Lewis and Raye Cosbert – as being among those who were involved in talks.

Alki’s tweet read as follows: “@mitchwinehouse Trenton Harrison Lewis/foundation manager & Raye Cosbert agreed with YOU! Money was not enough? Douche.”

A source close to Alki, who is founder of the FilmOn internet TV platform, explained: “Alki’s team had gone through all the proper channels so they were amazed when they saw Mitch react as if he’d never heard about it.

“The talks hadn’t reached the money stage, although Alki has been left wondering if that was a factor.  But Alki won’t be losing any sleep as there are a number of options on the table to recreate other major artists.”
