‘Don Peyote’ will go on a trip of a lifetime when XLrator Media releases the comedy-drama in May 2014 in theaters and on VOD. The film was co-written and directed by Michael Canzoniero and Dan Fogler, who’s also featured as the main actor. The movie also stars Josh Duhamel, Jay Baruchel, Wallace Shawn, Topher Grace and Anne Hathaway.
XLrator Media has released the following synopsis for ‘Don Peyote’:
A midlife crisis over his upcoming wedding sends 32-year-old unemployed stoner Warren Allman (Fogler) on the drug trip of a lifetime in this off-the-wall comedy. Fueled by vivid apocalyptic dreams, Warren becomes obsessed with Doomsday theories and decides to make a documentary on the subject while his fiancé is busy planning their wedding.
