Image Entertainment Presents Devil’s Knot on Home Entertainment

Biographical crime drama ‘Devil’s Knot,’ the harrowing true story about the West Memphis Three, is set to be released on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download today by Image Entertainment. The movie was helmed by Academy Award nominated director, Atom Egoyan, and stars Academy Award winners Colin Firth and Reese Witherspoon.

The ‘Devil’s Knot’ Blu-ray and DVD combo pack is being sold for $34.97, while the DVD is retailing for $29.96. The Bonus Features included on the home entertainment rleease of the thriller are: “The Making of Devil’s Knot;” “Getting into Character: The Cast of Devil’s Knot;” and Deleted Scenes.

Image Entertainment has released the following synopsis for ‘Devil’s Knot,’ which also stars Oscar Nominee Amy Ryan, Golden Globe Nominee Mireille enos and Stephen Moyer:

May 5, 1993. West Memphis, Arkansas. Three young boys playing in the nearby woods never come home for dinner. In the rush to find and convict the killers, police focus on a trio of teenagers suspected of devil worship. As the mother of one of the murdered boys, Pam Hobbs (Witherspoon), tries to come to grips with this unspeakable tragedy, she is desperate to believe that the killers have been found and will be brought to justice. It is only when an investigator, Ron Lax (Firth), reveals that the evidence doesn’t all add up, that the community is forced to face the reality that the true killer might still be out there.
