Actress Mary Lynn Rajskub is showing off her unexpected humorous side in Shockya’s exclusive clip, ‘Which Instrument,’ from her new comedy, ‘Play Nice.’ The performer, who made a name for herself on the acclaimed action drama series, ’24,’ is now starring in the scripted comedy film that explores how far parents will go to ensure their children’s success.

‘Play Nice’ was directed by Rodman Flender, who has helmed episodes for such television series as ‘Suburgatory‘ and ‘The Office.’ The script was written by two of the comedy’s actresses, Jill Bartlett and Lindsay Stidham.

The following synopsis for ‘Play Nice,’ which was just launched on Hulu Plus, has been released:

For one couple, getting their son into the ultra-prestigious Le Chance Academy is going to be a lot harder (and stranger) than they expected. Ellen and Dave Bell, Le Chance’s Headmasters (played by Rajskub and John Ennis), are unfortunately the very bizarre keys to their little boy’s future. The mystery of a missing dog, a parental culture clash and a very eccentric little boy all come together in the name of greater education in ‘Play Nice,’ also starring Collette Wolfe (‘Mad Men,’ ‘Hot Tub Time Machine’) and David Hoffman (‘Important Things with Demetri Martin,’ ‘Bridesmaids‘).

‘Which Instrument’ follows Ellen and Dave as they meet with the parents of a perspective student for Le Chance Academy. While the couple is trying to sway the Headmasters, their first impression doesn’t go as planned. Not only does their son lack the piano skills necessary to be accepted into the academy, but they also failed to bring a gift for the Headmasters for taking the time to meet with them. As a result, Ellen fires back with increasingly snarky comments.
