Opening in theaters this December is the follow up to last year’s holiday hit “The Hobbit: The Desolation Smaug.” “The Battle of the Five Armies” sees Bilbo Baggins and his 13 Dwarf friends reaching the Lonely Mountain to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor and going back home to the Shire. Once inside, Bilbo’s expertise as a burglar comes in handy when he must retrieve the kingdom’s treasure. The only thing in his way is the dragon Smaug and the Five Armies.
Warner Bros released a new TV spot featuring the confrontation between Bilbo and Smaug, as the Hobbit must outwit the evil dragon to survive. In the meantime, Bilbo’s 13 Dwarf companions battle Elves and spiders. “The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies” should be a fun and thrilling fantasy film with Dwarves, Hobbits, Elves, Wizards, and Dragons.
