“SpongeBob SquarePants: Sponge Out of Water 3D” brings SpongeBob not just out of the water, but into the world of 3D rendering! Nickelodeon’s popular sponge character is coming back to the theaters with his underwater friends (or in Squidward’s case, frenemy) to stop an evil pirate Alameda Jack (Antonio Banderas) from destroying the undersea town of Bikini Bottom.

The film stars all of the voices from “SpongeBob SquarePants,” including Tom Kenny, Clancy Brown, Bill Fagerbakke, Rodger Bumpass, Mr. Lawrence and Carolyn Lawrence. The Paul Tibbitt-directed film is described as “[SpongeBob’s] most super-heroic adventure yet.”

“SpongeBob SquarePants: Sponge Out of Water 3D” will be in theaters 2015. You can follow the film on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (hashtag for both Twitter and Instagram: #SpongeBobMovie).
