“Ghostbusters 3” has been a film that’s been discussed for years upon years. Most of the challenge that’s been reported involving if Bill Murray was going to be a part of the film, leading to tons of articles on whether he would or wouldn’t be in the film. But what if “Ghostbusters 3” doesn’t have Murray in it at all? What if it had a brand new cast, with the roles played by women?

That version of “Ghostbusters” could be underway. The Hollywood Reporter states that Paul Feig has been approached to direct the film and that under his tenure, the film just might have an all-female cast. However, The Hollywood Reporter states that no formal negotiations have taken place and that, for the most part, any talk about anything–including if Feig will actually commit to directing the film–is mostly just casual.

But let’s just say that an all-female “Ghostbusters” comes to pass? Who do you think will get cast? I can certainly see Tina Fey, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Rebel Wilson cast for this film. Of course, there are many other comediennes–known and unknown–that could fill the roles. What do you think about this possibility? Who would you cast?
