It would seem like the internet is finally warming up to the idea of Ben Affleck donning the cowl and cape as Batman in “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” So hopefully, since the tide seems to be turning in Affleck’s direction, this fan-shot video of Affleck on set as Bruce Wayne will excite those following this film closely.

The video, which was posted on The Hollywood Reporter and is a compilation of pictures, is below, but you can see Affleck in rolled-up shirtsleeves and a vest as the crew prepares for shots. Affleck is standing in front of a bus outfitted as a bus for the Metropolis City area, so it would appear that this scene is part of the Metropolis wreckage set footage that was recently released. The footage shows the type of destruction the film will have; combined with this new set footage, the destruction might also be the thing that brings Wayne and Superman together.

Personally, I’m still slowly coming around to the film. It’s got nothing to do with Batfleck now; it’s just that I feel something might not line up with this film. But hopefully I’m wrong; hopefully, this will finally be DC’s answer to Marvel’s complete film and television dominance.

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is directed by Zack Snyder and also stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. The film will be in theaters May 2016.
