Everyone’s favorite pet, Grumpy Cat, had fans coming out in droves Wednesday at The LINQ Promenade in Las Vegas. The scowling internet sensation arrived to the promenade in a stretch limo and walked the red carpet into Kitson Las Vegas to greet 1500 of her fans and for an appearance to promote her second book, “The Grumpy Guide to Life: Observations from Grumpy Cat.”

Grumpy Cat took photos with fans and took in the 360 degree views of the Las Vegas Strip from her own cabin on the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel, which rises 550 feet into the sky.

Pets generally aren’t allowed in the High Roller, but Grumpy Cat isn’t just any household pet. Caesars Entertainment granted Grumpy Cat special clearance to the cabin in order to give her the full Las Vegas experience. Of course, Grumpy Cat was still grumpy. As Grumpy Cat wrote on Instagram, “I went on the #HighRoller once. It was the worst. #LasVegas #Vegas.” But she can’t say Caesars Entertainment didn’t go out of their way to treat her like the celebrity she is.
