Most of us millennials grew up in the late ’80s and ’90s, so this generation knows all about “Saved by the Bell.” However, how many of us want to know the behind-the-scenes story behind the creation of the show? You might be out there raising your hand, itching to know what kind of scandals went on when the cameras went out. I have to count myself out; I don’t want to know anything. After seeing how Dustin Diamond acted on “Celebrity Fit Club,” I dare say I already know too much.
But, Lifetime has the “real” story behind “Saved by the Bell” whether you want to know or not! Get ready for “The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story,” coming this Labor Day. Now, “real” is in quotes because, as the title states, this TV movie is unauthorized, so who’s to say if any of this is actually true. But you can bet it’s going to be entertaining regardless of if it’s verified.
