IC Places Inc. has partnered with FilmOn Networks to launch the first hosted self-help television network, Imagination TV. The channel offers self-help enthusiasts with coverage around the clock, 24/7, with shows built around some of the world’s most influential educators, authors and motivators.

Imagination TV was founded by Steven Samblis, prominent businessman and self-improvement pioneer. Together with some of the biggest names in the self-help industry, including Greg S. Reid and Simon T. Bailey, he created this brand new channel aiming to help us help ourselves.

“I am so excited to a part of the launch of this innovated TV Network,” said Reid, the author of over 45 books including 28 best-sellers like “The Millionaire Mentor,” “Wake Up, Live the Life You Love” and “Positive Impact” as well as the producer of five movies including “Think and Grow Rich—Three Feet from Gold.” “A hosted Self-Help TV Network can offer a unique voice in the industry and help viewers gain a greater perspective about the shows they are watching.”

“I am honored to be apart of the Imagination TV movement. This self-help experience will positively impact people every day, every way, and on every device imaginable,” said Bailey, the former head of the Disney Institute, he current head of Brilliance Institute, Inc. and the author of seven books including “Release Your Brilliance.” Bailey will also host his own show on Imagination TV, “Simon Says Speak: How to Win and Influence Audiences,” which will show viewers how to conquer speech anxiety and confidently connect with crowds.

Samblis himself will co-host “UnCommon Denominator” with European pop star and former MTV VJ Tamee Harrison. The show, which as begun production in Glendale, CA, will focus on interviewing the world’s top moguls and discover the traits they share that have allowed them to achieve greatness. The show will also teach viewers how they can apply the lessons learned in the interviews to their own lives. The show will consist of 13 episodes with the culmination of the season represented in a book compiling all of the lessons and tips discussed.

The first guest is Chris Majer, the best-selling author and founder of “The Human Potential Project.” Majer stated how pleased he is to work with Imagination TV. “Imagination TV is a long overdue breakthrough as it makes the work of this generations great self-development teachers available to everyone,” Majer said. “I am proud to be the first featured guest and intend to do some great work with Steve and his team.”

The channel will be available for free via FilmOn.com, the largest digital television producer boasting over 40 million unique users a month. Viewers can also purchase ebooks and videos pertaining to the channel’s slate of original content at myimaginationTV.com.

“In the $9.84 billion self-improvement market, more content than ever is flooding the market, and some extraordinary content is becoming lost in the noise,” said Samblis. “There needs to be a singular, free of charge, multi-media accessible point where consumers can experience the best messages on the planet. There needs to be a place where people that are true fans and believers in the power of self-improvement can find the best of the best. Imagination TV delivers this.”

Imagination TV will become part of FilmOn Network’s already humongous offering of 600 linear channels and the largest privately-owned film archive in the world. “We are extremely excited to add Imagination TV to our offerings, ” said Kim Hurwitz, FilmOn’s SVP, Programming. “Having hosts guide the viewer through Imagination TV’s programing will be a game changer for the self-help industry. It will do for the self-help industry what MTV at its inception did for music.”
