Some of the biggest buzz has been coming from DC, what with the announcement of the “Suicide Squad” cast and the hope that either Oprah Winfrey, Viola Davis or Octavia Spencer would take on the role of Amanda Waller, the head of the squad of super villains working on behalf of the government (and for lower prison sentences). Not to be outdone, Marvel is stirring the pot of rumors with their own news about an esteemed actor who could become a comic book legend. The actor in question: Al Pacino.

Geek Tyrant is reporting that Pacino has met with Marvel for a role in one of their movies. The site states that the actor, who has expressed interest in becoming a part of a Marvel movie, has stated that he has actually met with Marvel’s Kevin Feige and that they could have a part for him. He discussed the meeting on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, as well as his love for “Guardians of the Galaxy.” One could assume that maybe if Pacino does show up in the Marvel universe, he might reveal himself in a “Guardians of the Galaxy” movie. Of course, there’s a plethora of Marvel movies out there, so who knows in what way Pacino will make his mark in the Marvel Universe.

Which comic book hero or villain would you love to see Pacino play? Give your opinions in the comments section below.
