“The Look of Love” is a hilarious look at the life of club owner, pornographer and property developer Paul Raymond, is airing on FilmOn’s stream of Channel 4. The film, starring Steve Coogan and directed by Michael Winterbottom, brings the funny to this biopic of the “King of Soho.”

Here’s more about the film:

“Steve Coogan stars in Michael Winterbottom’s biopic comedy-drama as the ‘King of Soho’, Paul Raymond, who opened Britain’s first strip club, revolutionised the erotic entertainment industry and became the country’s richest man. The film balances its entertainment and humour – the cheeky ways in which Raymond circumvented prudish 1950s licencing laws and exploited newspapers’ moral superiority with sensitivity as it portrays the decline and tragedy of Raymond’s relationships with his first wife Jean and his daughter Debbie. Also starring Tamsin Egerton as Raymond’s lover Fiona Richmond. The film is the fourth collaboration between the Coogan and Winterbottom, following 24 Hour Party People, A Cock and Bull Story and the TV series The Trip. The Look of Love is a Film4 production.”
