Simon Pegg is taking on a new role in “Kill Me Three Times.” The actor is playing rather against type as an assassin who’s currently on the job, as it were, out to kill a woman (Alice Braga). But the film is still a comedy of sorts, so Pegg will still be using his comedic skills as his character tries to keep afloat in a story filled with twists and turns.

Here’s more about the film:

“KILL ME THREE TIMES is a darkly comedic thriller from rising star director Kriv Stenders (Red Dog). Simon Pegg plays the mercurial assassin, Charlie Wolfe, who discovers he isn’t the only person trying to kill the siren of a sun-drenched surfing town (Alice Braga). Charlie quickly finds himself at the center of three tales of murder, mayhem, blackmail and revenge.”

The film’s original screenplay is by James McFarland and also stars Sullivan Stapleton as a gambling addict, Callan Mulvey as a rich beach club owner, Luke Hemsworth as a surfer trying to win the heart of his lady love, Teresa Palmer as a character described as a “small town Lady Macbeth,” and Bryan Brown as a bad cop. The film will be in theaters April 10; it’s currently out on Ultra VOD.

Below are some clips from the film and a still of Pegg in character; take a look at the videos below the post!
