Fans can welcome the world’s only female werewolf into their homes, as the second season of Syfy’s hit horror series, ‘Bitten,’ is now available on DVD. The 10-episode second season of the supernatural show, which stars Laura Vandervoort as werewolf Elena Michaels, received its DVD release after premiering on the cable network in mid-April.

‘Bitten’ is is based on the ‘Women of the Otherworld’ novel series by #1 New York Times best-selling author, Kelley Armstrong. Besides Vandervoort, Syfy’s top-rated supernatural series also stars Greyston Holt as Elena’s passionate partner, Clay Danvers, and Greg Bryk as Alpha Pack leader, Jeremy Danvers. The second season also introduces a coven of witches who turned to the Pack for support. Tammy Isbell portrays the calm and level-headed Coven leader, Ruth Winterbourne; Tommie-Amber Pirie plays Ruth’s daughter, the outspoken Paige Winterbourne; and Kiara Glasco stars as the young and impressionable Savannah Levine.
