Five years ago on ‘Rookie Blue,’ a group of green rookies fresh out of the Academy started their careers with 15 Division, one of the most elite units in Toronto. Now, as Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym) and her fellow officers enter their next year as seasoned pros, and are more resilient than ever, each day continues to bring new surprises and revelations.

Season 6 begins with two lives hanging in the balance: officers Sam Swarek (Ben Bass) and Chloe Price (Priscilla Faia), who’ve been shot in the line of duty. But life at 15 Division must go on, as the officers have sworn an oath to serve and protect, no matter the consequences. But as the shell-shocked men and women in blue struggle to pull the pieces of their lives back together, they can’t help but wonder: will things ever work out the way they’re supposed to? Besides Peregrym, Bass and Faia, the sixth season of ‘Rookie Blue’ also features such returning stars as Gregory Smith as Dov Epstein, Travis Milne as Chris Diaz, and Enuka Okuma as Traci Nash.

‘Rookie Blue’s Season Six, Volume One three-disc set, which is being released exclusively by the show’s production and distribution company, Entertainment One, will be sold for the suggest retail price of $39.98. The DVD will feature 11 episodes from the drama’s sixth season, plus the bonus featurette, ‘Life is Not a Fairytale,’ and webisodes.
