The aliens are set to invade Earth one last time, as TNT is set to distribute ‘Falling Skies: The Complete Fifth Season’ and ‘Falling Skies: The Complete Series’ on Blu-ray and DVD next Tuesday, February 2. The home release of the popular post-apocalyptic drama series was announced after the show’s fifth and final aired last summer on the basic cable network. The Emmy Award-nominated sci-fi series, which debuted in summer 2011, was executive produced by Steven Spielberg, and starred Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Drew Roy and Connor Jessup.

TNT’s sci-fi drama from Amblin Television will land on Blu-ray and DVD this winter for the final time. All 10 episodes of ‘Falling Skies: The Complete Fifth Season’ will be available as a two-disc Blu-ray release and a three-disc DVD set. The fifth season set features farewell interviews with the cast and crew, including Wyle, Colin Cunningham, Doug Jones and more, as well as ‘A Look Back,’ an exclusive group interview with Jones, Cunningham and Sarah Carter.
As season five opens, all breeds of beast and mutant are running rampant on Earth. The Espheni’s power core has been destroyed, and humans are now ready to fight on their terms.
