Celebrated action star Dolph Lundgren is working on his toughest job assignment yet: going undercover as a kindergarten teacher. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has released the first trailer for its anticipated sequel, ‘Kindergarten Cop 2,’ which it will release on DVD, Digital HD and On Demand on May 17. Lundgren, who also executive produced the follow-up to the hit 1990 comedy, ‘Kindergarten Cop,’ which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, is joined on screen by Bill Bellamy.

The reimagined family favorite cop comedy was directed by ‘Jarhead 2: Field of Fire’ helmer, Don Michael Paul. ‘Kindergarten Cop 2’ was penned by David H. Steinberg, Murray Salem, Herschel Weingrod and Timothy Harris. Besides Lundgren and Bellamy, the follow-up also stars Sarah Strange and Aleks Paunovic.

‘Kindergarten Cop 2’ follows gruff FBI Agent Reed (Lundgren) as he’s assigned to recover sensitive stolen data. Part of his assignment is to go undercover as a kindergarten teacher, but the school’s liberal, politically correct environment is more than he bargained for when he accepted the job.

The ‘Kindergarten Cop 2’ DVD and Digital HD include the bonus features as deleted scenes, a gag reel and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film. For more information on the comedy, visit its Facebook page. Watch the trailer for the sequel below.
