Being forced into a harrowing situation by the people who are supposed to protect them can be the best thing that can happen to young adults as they’re trying to find their life’s purpose. Actress Allie Evans and her peers are finally able to spread their wings in the new action comedy, ‘Maximum Ride.’ To celebrate the protagonists’ determination to protect their fate, Shockya is debuting a new exclusive poster from the film.
In the adventure movie, Evans’ character, Max, and the other orphan kids who have been cross-bred with avian DNA, are going on the run from their dubious governmental overseers. The characters’ journey in ‘Maximum Ride,’ which is based on the book series of the same name by James Patterson, can now be witnessed, as Paramount is distributing the film digitally today. The comedy is also set to be released on September 30 on VOD and in limited theaters.
‘Maximum Ride’ is the second feature from director Jay Martin, who made his feature film writing and directorial debuts with last summer’s crime thriller, ‘7 Minutes.’ The filmmaker’s follow-up effort was penned by Angelique Hanus and Jesse Spears. In addition to Evans, the action movie also features Patrick Johnson and Peter O’Brien.
