Cam Gigandet is fighting to maintain control of his reality in the new action thriller, ‘The Shadow Effect.’ In order for the actor’s protagonist to save himself and his wife, he must work with his doctor to determine why his dreams are mirroring political assassinations in the latest film from directors Obin Olson and Amariah Olson.

Momentum Pictures began distributing ‘The Shadow Effect‘ today On Demand, Digital HD and DVD. In addition to Gigandet, the movie also stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Brit Shaw and Michael Biehn, and was written by Chad Law, Evan Law and Tony Feole.

Momentum Pictures has released the following synopsis for ‘The Shadow Effect’:

Obsessed with gene regeneration, and fascinated by the phenomenon of the waking dream, Dr. Reese (Meyers) explores the psyche of Gabriel Howarth (Gigandet), a young man whose life is turned upside down when his violent dreams begin to blend with reality. When Gabriel’s dreams mirror political assassinations, he must race against the clock to not only save himself and his wife Brinn (Shaw), but stop an experimental government program. With time running out, and Gabriel’s life on the line, only Dr. Reese holds the key to unlocking the truth.
