Giving up their ultimate dream, in order to truly provide for their family, is often times a difficult challenge for many people. Despite his best intentions to support his growing family, Seann William Scott is still determined to reclaim his former professional glory as a hockey player in the official trailer and poster for his upcoming sports comedy, ‘Goon: Last of the Enforcers.’ The film’s trailer premiered exclusively on Entertainment Weekly earlier this week.

The movie marks the feature film directorial debut of Jay Baruchel, who also reprises his role of Pat from the first installment. Along with Jesse Chabot, the helmer-actor also co-wrote the script for ‘Goon: Last of the Enforcers,’ after he contributed to the screenplay for the original movie. In addition to Scott and Baruchel, the sequel also stars Alison Pill, Marc AndrĂ© Grondin, Wyatt Russell, Callum Keith Rennie, Jason Jones, Elisha Cuthbert, Kim Coates and Liev Schreiber.

Momentum Pictures has released the following synopsis for ‘Goon: Last of the Enforcers’:

After one too many injuries, hockey enforcer Doug Glatt (Seann William Scott) is forced to give up his aspirations of going to the big show and settle into a buttoned down career as an insurance salesman at the urging of his pregnant wife Eva (Alison Pill). However, Doug can’t resist the siren call of the Highlanders, so he sets course to reclaim his former glory.
