Sometimes the only way to overcome personal fears and tragedies is to connect with a stranger who’s contending with the same intimate pain. That’s certainly the case for the two of the struggling protagonists in the upcoming drama, ‘The Broken Ones.’ In honor of the film’s release in theaters next Tuesday, July 10, by Multicom Entertainment, Shockya is debuting an exclusive clip from the movie, which is titled ‘Bricks.’

‘The Broken Ones’ marks the feature film directorial debut of Elyse Niblett-Russell. The romantic drama was written by Cece King, who also star in the movie. In addition to King, the film also stars Charlie Bewley, Meg Donnelly, Constance Schulman, Margaret Colin and James Russo.

The plot in ‘The Broken Ones’ is based on the true story of King’s struggle to cope with the loss of her father in the 9/11 attacks. The story carefully delves into the struggles of depression as two troubled strangers meet and help each other overcome personal fears and tragedies.
