Two-song Sneak Preview EP in support of upcoming full-length album, ‘Little Stories;’ Recorded at WaveLab studios in Tucson, Arizona

Fully developing into a skilled and versatile maestro who powerfully understands life’s diverse struggles and joys isn’t a process that comes naturally to all musicians. But the members of the stunning and enthralling jazz-inspired quintet, Miss Olivia & The Interlopers, are proving how versatile they are at understanding the pain and conflicts that people must overcome, in order to appreciate the pleasure in all aspects of life. The band’s ease at expressing emotionally relatable trials and tribulations in love is expertly highlighted on its new sneak peak jazz-funk-R&B two-track EP, which is a tantalizing preview of their upcoming full-length debut album, ‘Little Stories.’

The EP opens with the seductive and soulful entry, ‘Leaving You Behind,’ on which the members of the Tucson, Arizona-based group bear their souls through their instrumentation and vocals. Olivia Reardon, the Miss Olivia of the band, effortlessly shares beautiful romantic imagery with her listeners. Backed by rock-infused guitars, the singer captivatingly proclaims that there isn’t any shame in loving someone. But at the same time, she refuses to cry over the struggles she faces with the man she’s involved with, as she’s determined to overcome the temporary pain.

‘Leaving You Behind’ transitions into another mellow and memorable song, ‘Blacklisted.’ The mellow tune instantly captures listeners’ attention with its perfect blend of jazz and rock-inspired vocals, which is perfectly supported by passionate guitar riffs and basslines. The emotion smartly builds through the track’s bluesy, moody energy, as Reardon croons that she doesn’t want to be lonely anymore.

The organic and all-too-important message that’s featured throughout the funk-inspired sneak preview EP proves what a safe and supporting atmosphere that Miss Olivia & The Interlopers provide for their fans. The musicians of the talented quartet possess a stunning confidence and unwavering passion in their determination to appreciate what life has to offer and teach them.
