Powerful characters often become strong and resilient after living through a tense situation that’s outside society’s norms. Two distinctly different characters are being brought together in the new action thriller, ‘Cold Blood,’ as they’re both facing the difficulties of their perspective life choices. In honor of Screen Media releasing the film in theaters and On Demand July 5, ShockYa is premiering an exclusive clip from the drama, which is titled ‘Give Me A Good Reason to Help You.’

The clip follows French action veteran, Jean Reno, who plays Henry, a legendary hitman who’s settling into retirement in isolation to the barren North American wilderness. But his solitude is interrupted when he rescues a woman, Melody Sarah Lind, from a snowmobile accident. As she starts thanking him for rescuring her, he responds by saying, “Give me a good reason to help you.”

‘Cold Blood’ follows Henry, a legendary hitman who’s enjoying the isolation of his lakeside cabin deep within the vast wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. When the solitude of his well-earned retirement is shattered by the arrival of a young woman, who’s the survivor of a dramatic snowmobile accident, Henry must decide whether or not he should risk his own life to save hers.

The thriller was written and directed by Frédéric Petitjean. In addition to Reno and Lind, ‘Cold Blood’ also stars Joe Anderson (‘Twilight’), David Gyasi (‘Interstellar’), François Guétary (‘Lost’) and Samantha Bond (‘Downton Abbey’).
