Elizabeth Keener in Ashes Exclusive Clip
Actress Elizabeth Keener appears in an exclusive clip from writer-director-producer Barry Jay’s horror film, ‘Ashes.’

Reconnecting with family members can at ties be an unpleasant situation. That’s certainly the case for actress Elizabeth Keener’s character, Ellyn, in the upcoming horror movie, ‘Ashes.’ With Ellyn in charge of finding a final resting place for her Aunt Marion’s ashes, she unwittingly becomes more connected with her deceased relative than she ever intended.

In honor of 1091 Media releasing ‘Ashes’ on Digital and VOD today, ShockYa is premiering an exclusive clip from the drama, which is called ‘Hair.’ The clip follows Ellyn as she’s set to bring her aunt’s ashes to the cemetery, so that they can be laid to rest. But after the urn slips from Ellyn’s grip she inadvertently inhales some of Marion’s ashes, and subsequently heaves up a clump of hair.

‘Ashes’ was written, directed and produced by Barry Jay. In addition to Keener, the film also stars Jeremy Earl, Yumarie Morales, Angelique Maurnaé and Melinda deKay.

1091 Media has released the following synopsis for ‘Ashes’:

After a family’s estranged aunt passes away, they’re reluctant and creeped out to receive her cremated ashes. When a series of supernatural misfortunes then beset them, they’ll have to go through Hell to be rid of her angry spirit.
